PAT Testing (Portable Appliance Testing)
PAT Testing (portable appliance testing) from £20
What is PAT Testing?
The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 refer to Portable Appliance Testing (often know as PAT testing) as the general term given to the examination of electrical appliances and equipment to ensure they are safe to use. Although most electrical safety defects can be found by visual examination, some defects can only be found by testing. A K Cleaning can help by offering a cost effective service to electrically test all your portable appliances and give you a professional report to prove you have complied with the regulations.
How frequently do I need to test my electrical appliances?
The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 do not specify what needs to be done, by whom or how frequently. But in practice it is more convenient to ask a professional company to test electrical equipment to ensure that any electrical equipment that has the potential to cause injury is maintained in a safe condition.
